Dear Foodies,

Today’s topic we are talking about our famous Angel Bay Beef meatballs and the tastiest side dishes to the mouth-watering main meals that complement them well if you are dishing up some for lunch or dinner.  If you think that meatballs are only good with spaghetti – you are wrong. From reheating our meatballs and putting them in some Greek yogurt in a small pita to marinating them in some coconut milk to chucking them on some skewers.

Here is a compilation of the most popular side dishes that exclude pasta, that will have your family or guests stocking up their plates for more.

1)Meatballs with some Greek Yogurt in a Pita wrap

The first party idea, reheat your Angel Bay meatballs on the stove top, and buy some Greek yogurt from the supermarkets. Add three meatballs, some yogurt, lettuce and tomato to a warm Pita wrap.

2) Meatball sub

Cook four meatballs on the stovetop in a pasta sauce. Grab a bread roll, and put four meatballs then add some mozzarella cheese and place the sub in the oven to melt the cheese on. Add lettuce, tomato and carrot, and you have got your own tasty sub.

3) Meatballs with a gravy (mushroom or pepper)

A yummy dinner item for the family. Buy some Gravy and add some chopped parsley and chives. Then slice some mushrooms to put in the gravy. Then add your angel bay beef meatballs.

4) Meatballs with mash

Instead of traditional mince and mash potato – try meatballs and mashed potato. A popular, affordable dinner item that is great to have at dinner time.  Boil some potatoes, mash them up with a small amount of milk and butter, and marinate the angel bay meatballs in a tomato sauce.

5) Thai meatballs with a coconut broth and noodles

Turn meatballs in a delicious coconut vegetable curry. Cook some carrot, green beans and zucchini in a post, add some coconut milk, vegetable stock and some red curry paste- depending on how spicy you like your curry, only add teaspoon amounts at a time- then add your angel bay beef meatballs.

6) Meatballs with a soy-lime dipping sauce

In a large mixing bowl put some soy sauce, a tablespoon of sugar, and two tablespoons of lime juice.

Prepare a grill or pan at a medium heat. Grill frozen beef meatballs until lightly grazed. Brush meatballs with soy sauce, then cook for a further minute.
